Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars Battlefront’s massive Outer Rim update caused a major issue with player ranks, but DICE has released a new hotfix to address it.

A bug introduced with the update caused players to instantly reach the level cap of 60 and then crash at the end of every round. The developer has reset the rank of those affected by the issue.

“We apologize for any inconvenience but this step is necessary so that you can properly gain levels again and avoid crashes at the end of rounds,” DICE added.

DICE released the 8GB Outer Rim update earlier this week, which added support for the game’s first paid DLC of the same name. Outer Rim is available now for season pass holders and introduces four new maps set on Sullust and Tatooine, Greedo and Nien Nunb as playable characters, and new weapons and Star Cards.
