Metro Last Light

Valve’s 300 Steam Machine prototypes being shipped to beta testers this year will be bundled with Deep Silver and 4A Games’ Metro: Last Light, the companies announced today.

“We are excited by the prospect of bringing the ultimate Metro experience, powered by next-gen PC hardware into the living,” 4A Games chief technology officer Oles Shishkovstov said in a press release. “Metro: Last Light will be a great showcase for Steam OS and the Steam Controller.”

Both of which—Steam OS and the Steam Controller—Metro: Last Light will support, Deep Silver also confirmed.

Just yesterday, Valve unveiled the first images of its Steam Machine prototype.

Metro: Last Light launched on Windows PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 earlier this year. The Mac OS X version dropped last month, and the Linux version arrives today. For more on Last Light, check out Ray’s review.
