Hitman

Think you’re ready for the stress of Hitman‘s first Elusive Target mission? This new trailer offers a sobering reminder that not only does this special event put a ticking clock on the execution, it also guarantees you’ll have just one shot to get it right.

In the first Elusive Target mission, players have a 48-hour window?and that’s in real time?to hunt down The Forger, a skilled counterfeiter making his wealth off of an art museum’s priceless exhibits. Once those two days are up, the job is gone forever.

Then there’s the other major restriction the challenge offers. As Square Enix detailed yesterday, the missions cannot be replayed regardless of whether the player dies, botches the objective, or misses their window of opportunity. Additionally, the mission can only be completed once. By every definition of the phrase, there are no second chances.

Hitman‘s first Elusive Target mission arrived this morning, Friday, May 13th, at 9 a.m. PT, and will conclude exactly 48 hours later, on the morning of the 15th.
