If you’re curious how Geralt of Rivia’s upcoming griffin-slashing, enchantress-seducing quest will play on TV?presumably, given the target audience, in between last-second Stephen Curry three-pointers in the NBA playoffs, rambling Seth Rollins promos on RAW, and bench-clearing baseball brawls involving the Kansas City Royals?CD Projekt RED released the open-world RPG’s TV spot today, which you can check out in the video embedded below.

Really, if you’re already interested in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in any capacity, the commercial doesn’t tell you anything you didn’t already know, but it’s interesting to see how it’s being marketed toward a general audience. In this case, the commercial features a short clip of a one-on-one duel with a roc who seems to have a taste for attacking peasant girls in the middle of sprawling wheat fields, all while a voiceover from Geralt’s voice actor, Doug Cockle, explains that the cutthroat world of The Witcher “doesn’t need a hero. It needs a professional.”

Also intriguing? The lack of any mention of a “3” in the voiceover, which really showcases CD Projekt RED’s desire to pitch the game to an audience that didn’t play the first two titles (since they know fans will eat it up regardless).

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled for a May 19th release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
