Of all the new content and adjustments coming in Tom Clancy’s The Divison‘s 1.1 update, details on the game’s new gear sets were kept close to the vest until a new screenshot revealed what this high-level gear has to offer players.
According to the recent Division livestream, gear sets are collections of high-level gear that grant unique and power bonuses and talents when equipped with other pieces in the set. There are four different gear sets coming in next week’s update and each compliment a different play style. The Strikers Battlegear set focuses on assault and damage, the Path of the Nomad set is built for players running solo, the Tactician’s Authority set centers around skill management and support, and the Sentry’s Call set is all about precision.
Since players can wear up to six pieces of gear, a full set isn’t required to get that set’s best perk. A new image released by Ubisoft reveals specifics on the number of gear pieces required to unlock the different stat bonuses and talents offered by each set:
Set Bonus (2): +20% Enemy Armor Damage
Set Bonus (3): Critical Hit Damage
Set Bonus (4): Shooter (Talent) ? Every consecutive hit deals 1% more damage. Stacks up to 100%. Missing shots drop bonus by 2%. Bonus is reduced by 1% every second.
Path of the Nomad
Set Bonus (2): +50% Scavenging
Set Bonus (3): +20% Health on Kill
Set Bonus (4): Nomad (Talent) ? When receiving fatal damage, you are instead healed up to full health. Can occur once every 10 minutes.
Set Bonus (2): +4,000 Skill Power
Set Bonus (3): +20% Skill Haste
Set Bonus (4): Tactician’s Authority (Talent) ? Every 60k damage your group deals adds 1% skill power to you for a max of 100% bonus. Bonus is reduced by 1% every second the group isn’t dealing damage.
Set Bonus (2): +30% Headshot Damage
Set Bonus (3): +20% Damage to Elites
Set Bonus (4): Striker (Talent) ? Headshots mark the enemy, increasing the damage inflicted on the target by 15% for a duration of 10 seconds each. A Target can receive up to three marks.
These talents and stat bonuses are further broken down in a video posted by YouTuber Arekkz Gaming.
