Winning Putt, the free-to-play golf MMO, is receiving its spring update, which introduces a new course, co-op mode, and inaugural pro tour.
Starglen is the name for the eighth course arriving with the April 21st update, set on an alien planet in the middle of an excavation site. According to Bandai Namco, the course is rated for mid- to high-level players with narrow fairways and a few bunkers made from planetary craters. Also included is a co-op mode for up to 20 players called Survival Time Attack, where golfers race to see who can complete the hole the fastest with a short timer counting down as soon as the first person scores.
Bandai Namco is helping developer Webzen OnNet with the first ever Winning Putt championship tour set for September, starting with the six-month, 30-tournament Valero tour. The first event is the Sakura pro-am tournament, offering various exclusive rewards and a sparkling jacket for the winner.
Winning Putt, including the new spring update, is free-to-play on PC.
