THE BUZZ: A new trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron’s was revealed at the Spike Video Game Awards show. The trailer showed a slightly redesigned Optimus Prime carrying a wounded Bumblebee to safety, before regrouping with the Autobots to take on Megatron and his Decepticons. With a war torn Cybertron in the backdrop, the Transformers prepare for battle as the Constructicons form to build the massive behemoth Devastator. Not to be out done, the video ends with a Dinobot forming to help Optimus Prime defend his planet.

EGM’s TAKE: While you can see the Michael Bay influence on this trailer, all is forgiven when you bring Dinobots into the picture. High Moon Studios doesn’t not get enough credit for making what is arguably the best Transformers based entertainment in the last five years. We’re still holding out for High Moon Studios to transform Megatron into his original Walther P38 form but a jet is still cool… We guess.
