Curious about EX Troopers, Capcom’s upcoming game that is basically the multiplayer portion of Lost Planet made into its own project? If so, here’s a new video showing off some footage from the game.

Capcom’s current strategy for Lost Planet is rather interesting: make the next major chapter a more focused and story-driven single-player game, and break that multiplayer off into EX Troopers. It’s a strategy I’m not exactly sure about just yet—I enjoyed the previous Lost Planets, and now each of those two halves are turning into very different games.

Still, I played a bit of the 3DS version of EX Troopers at Tokyo Game Show, and quite enjoyed my time with it. It’s just a shame that—as of now—it seems that Capcom has no plans to bring this to the West.
