THE BUZZ: According to event organizer, CESA, the Tokyo Game Show saw record attendance levels this year.

The four day event ended this Sunday, and saw 222,668 visitors pass through its doors. Last year the show pulled in 207,647 and the year before 185,030. The first public day of the show also broke the single-day attendance record.

EGM’s TAKE: The Tokyo Game Show is over for another year, odds on Final Fantasy Verses XIII making an appearance at TGS 2012, anyone?
