Batman: Arkham Origins TV Spot Shows Bruce Wayne’s Transformation

Posted on October 17, 2013 AT 06:39am

Warner Bros. has released a new television commercial for Batman: Arkham Origins, which maps out Bruce Wayne’s transformation from scared child to feared crime-fighter.

“This emotional piece depicts the transformation from Bruce Wayne’s dark childhood to his position as the feared crime-fighting hero,” the publisher writes. The commercial itself was directed by Tim Miller and animated by Blur Studio, who also created cinematic trailers for Star Wars: The Old Republic and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. Arkham Origins takes place seven years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, and sees Gotham City’s greatest assassins trying to take out Batman in one night. This one night is the defining moment that turns a young and unrefined Batman into the feared Dark Knight that we all know.

Batman: Arkham Origins is set to release October 25 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U.
