EA has announced that Dead Space 3‘s first DLC pack, Awakened, will go live next week and also released a new trailer for it.

This campaign add-on will take the franchise back towards its survival horror roots and will cover its “darkest chapters” to date. The DLC will be available from March 12 and will cost 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 or $9.99 on PlayStation 3 and PC.

Earlier this week EA denied rumors that Dead Space 4 had been cancelled following poor sales of Dead Space 3. You can check out the trailer below.
