Destiny

Bungie has released a new video for its upcoming shooter Destiny that takes a look at the game’s weapons, armor, and loot.

In the video above, lead designer Lars Bakken and community manager David Dague talk us through the game’s arsenal of weapons, which include fire-spewing shotguns, fusion rifles, as well as traditional pistols and rifles. Weapons in Destiny fall into three categories: Primary (auto rifles and hand cannons), Special (shotguns and sniper rifles), and Heavy (rockets and belt-fed machine guns).

There is no shared loot in Destiny, everything that drops is private to you, including ammo. Players can also break down unwanted loot into raw components that can be used to improve your weapons and armor.

Destiny is set to launch September 9 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
