Learn all about the art of interrogation in this Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments trailer

Posted on August 29, 2014 AT 04:21am

Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer for Frogwares’ latest entry in the Sherlock Holmes series, Crimes and Punishments, that offers a look at the game’s interrogation system.

Basically, when you talk to a suspect or witness, Holmes will closely examine the person for clues that could help with the investigation—via a freeze time mini-game. These clues can then be used to determine whether that person is lying or telling the truth when it comes to questioning.

Each of the game’s cases will have three to five possible solutions that will unlock different endings, depending on the choices you make throughout the investigation.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments is set to launch September 30 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
