Gameplay footage from Hideo Kojima’s The Phantom Pain has appeared online following the announcement that the game is in fact part of Metal Gear Solid 5 along with Ground Zeroes.

The video starts with Big Boss awaking from a nine-year coma unable to work momentarily. A bandaged patient called Ishmael takes it upon himself to help the struggling Big Boss escape the hospital.

It was reported yesterday that Metal Gear voice actor David Hayter will not be reprising his role as Snake or Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid 5.
