Destiny

As expected, a brand new gameplay trailer for Destiny was shown at the VGX awards tonight, showing off some of the game’s environments, characters, enemies, and powers.

The trailer shows footage of characters shooting plasma balls at enemies, accessing lightning-quick speed boosts to attack multiple enemies in rapid succession, and sending out energy blasts to knock back enemies.

Yesterday, Bungie announced that Destiny would be available from September 9, 2014 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. A closed beta for the game is scheduled to begin summer 2014, beginning first on PS4 and PS3.
