If you can name only one robot from the Transformers series, that name has to be Optimus Prime. Optimus has long been one of the most popular of the franchise’s heroic Autobots, not to mention one of its more beloved and recognizable faces period.

In this new video development diary from High Moon Studios, we get a deeper look at Optimus Prime and his role in the upcoming Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

And seriously–the day Peter Cullen can no longer do the voice of Optimus Prime is the day I wonder if the character should be officially retired. I can think of very few other characters out there—no matter the medium—that have such an iconic and legendary voice.
