Sega and The Creative Assembly have released a new behind-the-scenes video for Alien: Isolation that sees the original cast of Ridley Scott’s 1979 film Alien discussing what its like to reprise their roles 35 years later.
Sigourney Weaver (Ellen Ripley), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), Tom Skerritt (Dallas) and Yaphet Kotto (Parker) discuss their roles in two pre-order missions—that will see players returning to the Nostromo—mixed in with some gameplay footage.
The first mission, “Crew Expendable,” is available with the day one Nostromo Edition, which will be available as an automatic upgrade with all pre-orders, and sees players take control of either Ellen Ripley, Parker, or Dallas as they attempt to lure the Alien out of the ship’s airlock. While the second mission, “Last Survivor,” is only available from select retailers, and sees Ripley activate the Nostromo’s self-destruct sequence before attempting to reach the Narcissus shuttle to escape.
Alien: Isolation is set to launch October 7 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
