Bethesda has released a new trailer for Shinji Mikami’s The Evil Within, which features plenty of mysterious deaths, blood, and gore.

The game tells the story of a detective named Sebastian, who attends a mass murder to find something sinister waiting for him. He is attacked and wakes up in a world full of monsters.

The Evil Within is being developed by Tango Gameworks and is due to release in 2014 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
