Titanfall

Titanfall‘s alpha stress test is now underway on Xbox One, and, as you probably expected, several videos of the game in action have been posted online.

Last week EA sent out invites to a “technical test” for Titanfall on Xbox One, which will officially end tonight. The publisher has spent most of the weekend removing videos from YouTube, so be sure to watch the footage below while you still can.

Following the leaking of this footage, several users took to Twitter and NeoGAF to complain about the quality of the game, but Respawn programmer Rayme Vinson revealed that the game looks bad on purpose, with textures reduced in the stress test build.

“Huge difference. Leaked pics don’t represent final game,” he wrote. “If you see a 256×256 texture in the Alpha, it’s actually a 512×512 texture in the real game. It’ll be 4x bigger.”

Titanfall is set to release in March for PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
