Microsoft has released a new video that offers a walkthrough of Xbox One’s Friends App, highlighting the console’s social feed, profile pages, and Follow functionality.

A new Feed screen allows users to see text updates of what games and apps their friends are using. Using Kinect, the feed can be snapped to the right hand of the screen so you can view live updates while you play. The ability to “appear offline” has been moved to a button on your profile screen to make it easier to access. This screen also gives you the ability to change your gamerpic, Gamertag, view your Reputation score, and alter your privacy settings.

Friends on your friends list can also be set as Favorites, moving them to a separate screen so you can easily see what they are up to. Finally players will also be able to “Follow” each other Twitter-style.
