Another Gameplay Bug Found In Latest Street Fighter X Tekken Patch
Posted on May 20, 2012 AT 04:50pm
Capcom has been trying to keep patching their latest fighter, Street Fighter X Tekken to prevent glitches from ruining gameplay.
This is normal for all fighting games to keep the gameplay fair. However, in the latest version of Street Fighter X Tekken (Version 1.04) a new bug has been discovered by competitive Street Fighter player EG|Ricky Ortiz. Basically gameplay will freeze when Rolento’s knife attack comes in contact with a projectile.
Slash5150 of KhaosGamingTV posted the following videos demonstrating the glitch.
Capcom has obviously been made aware of the glitch and has updated their Street Fighter X Tekken blog with a few different topics, this recent freeze glitch. Producer Tomoaki Ayano has apologized for the bug and says the developmental team is currently trying to find the cause of this problem. Capcom hopes to release the corrective patch in the middle of this coming June so players will not have to wait too long before this shouldn’t be an issue anymore.
On a more positive note, the blog also mentions that the PS Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken almost at the final stages of the development. Hopefully, this version will be completely fixed when it is finally released.
