New Super Mario Bros. U Traverses The Wii U Platform (Interview) – PAX Prime 2012

Nintendo’s Wii U is just months away and what better way to launch the console than with the series that built the platform? New Super Mario Bros. U is set to deliver an experience that fully takes advantage of Nintendo’s GamePad and the high-definition capabilities of the Wii U hardware. Supporting both Nintendo’s Wii Remote and Wii U GamePad, New Super Mario Bros. U introduces new power-ups, such as a Flying Squirrel suit that allowing players to glide across long distances and Baby Yoshis, which evolve from item boxes and can be carried.
While covering PAX Prime 2012, Raychul and I had the opportunity to catch up with Krysta Yang, Public Relations Specialist for Nintendo, to speak on New Super Mario Bros. U and expand upon Mario’s latest adventure on Nintendo’s upcoming hardware release.
