Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, originally titled Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle, is set to introduce the insanely enjoyable Professor Layton franchise to Nintendo’s 3DS for the very first time. Developed by Level-5, the same team behind White Knight Chronicles, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask takes place in the mysterious town of Monte d’Or, a year after the events of the fourth title, Professor Layton and the Last Specter.

Released as a 3DS launch title in Japan, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is set to release here in North America on October 28th of this year and October 26th for those in Europe. With the release right around the corner, Raychul and I made sure that we caught up with Krysta Yang, Public Relations Specialist for Nintendo, to learn more on Professor Layton’s latest journey and discover how the 3DS implementation will affect the latest release in the franchise.
