My game likes to party all the time…
For the second time in as many months, Bethesda Softworks celebrated one of their new games with a launch party in Hollywood.
Last night, the company celebrated the impending release of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” — due out this Friday — with a party at The Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles that featured a performance by Jane’s Addiction.
Among the celebs in attendance were singer Christina Aguilera, actors John Cho (“Star Trek”) and his “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas” costar David Krumholtz (“Numb3rs,”), David Arquette (the “Scream” movies), Kellan Lutz (the “Twilight” movies), Brian Dietzen (“NCIS”), Sienna Miller (“G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra”), Topher Grace (“That ’70s Show”), Patrick Fugit (“Almost Famous”), Eric Balfour (“Haven”), Tiffani Thiessen (“Beverly Hills 90210”), Johnny Whitworth (“3:10 To Yuma”), Lauren Conrad (“The Hills”), Grant Harvey (“The Secret Life Of The American Teenager”), Edi Gathegi (“X-Men: First Class”), Alexandra Breckenridge (“American Horror Story”), “Grandma’s Boy” director Nicholaus Goosen, and the band All American Rejects.
Also in attendance was Lynda Carter (“Wonder Woman”), whose husband, Robert Altman, is the Chairman & CEO of Bethesda’s parent company ZeniMax Media; producer Jerry Bruckheimer (every “CSI” show), who serves on the ZeniMax’s board; “Skyrim” director Todd Howard and other members of the development team; such gaming luminaries as G4’s Adam Sessler and IGN’s Jessica Chobot; some of our fellow gaming journalists; and a lot of really tall women who probably didn’t know they were at a party for a video game.
