Studio Wildcard has revealed that it will be adding a new map and dinosaur to Ark: Survival Evolved via a free update on PC tomorrow, June 18th.
The Valguero map introduces 63 square kilometers of new land and sea for players to explore, a new dinosaur to tame called the Deinonychus, and a triple threat boss encounter against the Megapithecus, Manticore, and Dragon. Watch a debut trailer for the upcoming map below:
“Explore new heights and hidden depths; whether it’s creating your foundations in the White Cliffs or unearthing the secrets of the Aberration Trench, Valguero offers a new experience in the Ark universe,” the developer explains. “With new biomes, challenging dungeon bosses, and mysterious ruins to discover, there’s always something exciting — and dangerous — on Valguero. Among its more than 60 kilometers, you’ll find everything from lush jungles to environmental hazards, snowfields to lava flows, and savannahs to hot springs.”
Valguero launches tomorrow for PC, with a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release to follow in July.
Ark: Survival Evolved is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
