Activision and Tencent have announced that free-to-play Call of Duty title, Call of Duty: Mobile, is coming to iOS and Android devices in the West.
“Developed in conjunction with Tencent, the game features the hallmarks of exceptional environments, incredible action, and intense competitive firefights no matter where you are in the world,” Activision explains. “Tencent’s award-winning Timi studio has a proven track record with the success of Honor of Kings and CrossFire, and their dedicated team of die-hard Call of Duty fans are working to create an epic, visceral, and feature-packed mobile action experience with this release.”
The game brings together maps, modes, weapons, and characters from across the Call of Duty series, including Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked, and more.
Activision also teased that the game features “additional modes of play,” but failed to share any further information.
A release date for Call of Duty: Mobile was not announced, but interested players can preregister for the game now over on the official site for “the chance to earn in-game rewards.”
