Epic Games has released a new update for Fortnite that introduces the Chug Splash to the game.

This new addition is a thrown item that splashes liquid in a small area upon impact that will instantly heal all players in the splash radius by 20 health/shield and can also extend the “knocked” state of players. Check it out in the trailer below:

Today’s update also reduces the Combat Shotgun’s long-range effectiveness, removes the ability to ride Proximity Grenade Launcher projectiles, makes the Fortbyte pressure plate puzzle easier to complete, and removes the Boom Bow, Dual Pistols, and Dynamite.

“These Vaults are primarily targeted at adjusting the availability of explosives, putting them more in line with where we think they should be,” Epic explains.

Moving onto Save the World. This week, players are getting the new Storm Shield Endurance mode, which challenges players to survive 30 waves of enemies in their SSD to earn rewards. There’s also the return of the Chrome heroes, a Beta Storm version of Retrieve the Data, and Resupply is back.
