Titanfall Xbox 360 launch bumped back to March 25

Posted on February 6, 2014 AT 01:54pm

The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall has been delayed by two weeks to a March 25 launch date, publisher Electronic Arts announced today.

“To give [Bluepoint Games] the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe,” EA Studios executive vice president Patrick Söderlund wrote in an update posted to EA’s The Beat blog. “The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience.”

Development of the Xbox 360 version is being handled by Bluepoint Games, whose past work includes God of War Collection and The Ico & Shadow of Colossus Collection for PS3, as well as Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for both PS3 and Xbox 360.

Titanfall will still launch on Xbox One and Windows PC March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe.

Earlier this week, Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella revealed Titanfall’s minimum PC requirements and confirmed that EA’s Origin service would be required to play their debut title.
