Perfect World Entertainment has announced that Torchlight II will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch from September 3rd, 2019.

The console version of the game has been developed by Panic Button and features all of the content found in the original PC release, as well as enhanced controls, an improved targeting system, a new interface designed for consoles, achievements/trophies, and pets. Nintendo Switch players can also connect multiple consoles together and play local multiplayer.

Torchlight II is an undisputed ARPG fan favorite, which is why we couldn’t wait to bring it to today’s generation of consoles,” Jason Park, Vice President, Business Development for Perfect World Entertainment, said. “We’ve really enjoyed working with Panic Button on bringing games in our portfolio to new and exciting platforms.”

“We’ve discovered that the core mechanics featured in Torchlight II translate really well onto consoles,” Andy Boggs, Technical Director at Panic Button, added. “It’s a solid multiplayer experience with fast-paced action and an almost endless progression system. Our team has been working hard on the console version to make sure that the combat feels just as fun and satisfying as it did on PC.”

Torchlight II originally launched for PC in 2012.
